For a final touch, the right color can give the living room a much-needed refresh. "Look to men's suiting and shirting for a color palette inspiration — think pinstripes, tweeds, leather, and crisp lines," says Hannah Yeo, Benjamin Moore color and design expert. "Navy, charcoal, a range of grays, warm tans, and white can be used in combinations that are apt to complement existing furniture while taking the look up a notch."
