Aria

Walala was invited to make her mark on this Islington boutique during September’s London Design Festival (LDF)—literally. She adorned it inside and out with her signature prints while creating a capsule collection of cushions, mugs, and more. Also in stock: everything from contemporary furnishings (see Fritz Hansen, Kartell) to lifestyle accessories commissioned from local design labels.more after the cut.Darkroom

“Darkroom is my ultimate design shop,” says Walala. “I absolutely love everything they have on display!” This is not hugely surprising, considering all of the boldly patterned accessories—handmade housewares, stationary, leather goods—lining the Bloomsbury flagship’s black walls (hence the name). 52 Lamb’s  Fee Fee La Fou HQ

The designer calls this Dalston concept store a “fantastic neon circus.” Expect a kaleidoscopic cabinet of curiosities featuring brightly colored bespoke furnishings, custom jewelry, and whimsical paintings by the artist-owner, Fiona Duffelen. 6 Bradbury  Grace and Thorn

Triangle, on Clapton’s up-and-coming Chatsworth Road, mixes midcentury furniture with emerging fashion labels and contemporary Scandinavian designs—and “they style everything beautifully,” says Walala. “They also got a stall at Broadway Market where I have been buying some of my favorite lamps ever!” 81 Chatsworth Rd.;
